JOB DESCRIPTION

The Westfield Corporation is currently searching for experienced Attendants for a Senior coed Assistant Living Center
Ensures supervision of our seniors providing the following services:

• Accountable for the supervision, care and safety of Seniors placed in the care of The WestfieldAsistant Living Center through the strict adherence to established policies, procedures and orders in the performance of duties.
• Monitors Senior activity and maintains awareness of residents' emotional and physical needs.
Maintains group control and watches for signs of problems and issues. Controls noise levels,
behavior and diffuses potentially escalating situations through the application of verbal de-
escalating techniques.
• Coordinates, directs and monitors the daily activities of seniors.
• Communicates effectively with other shifts, supervisors, support staff, case managers, Director, Regional Director and other staff as appropriate.
• Maintains security, order and approved discipline techniques.
• Generates and maintains required documentation prior to leaving the facility at the end of the assigned shift.
• Maintains and enforces security procedures. Resolves differences among residents, and intervenes in senior altercations.
• Monitors visiting hours and visitors.
• Provides crisis intervention, follow-up counseling and necessary documentation to any resident as needed.
• Effectively plans for and arranges for residents' program involvement.
• Transports clients as deemed necessary.
• On-going development and implementation of assigned area(s) of residential treatment center functioning.

You MUST meet the following requirements in order to be considered for this position:
• MUST have at least 2 years experience with elderly, preferably in a senior residential setting.
• Experience should demonstrate progressive responsibility in order to monitor the elderly • MUST have a valid Driver's License.

• MUST BE AVAILABLE 2 WEEKENDS A MONTH
• Available to for Shift work
• Required to pass all pre-and post tests
• MUST maintain all training and hiring requirements for compliance
• MUST complete and maintain CPR certification
