Referrals
The program reserves the right to refuse admission to person meeting the following exclusionary criteria:
The Westfield Corporate Office will accept referrals during business hours of 8:00 am - 5:00 pm.
AFTER HOURS ADMISSION
The Westfield Residential Treatment Center will accept referrals and admissions 24 hours a day, seven days a week Mon.-Sun. The facility staff will contact the Facility Administrator or Treatment Director after normal office hours. We accept 24 hour admissions during holidays.
A pre-placement visit with the admissions team is required prior to placement and parents and/or agency representatives are encouraged to accompany the child at the time.
- Applicants who are actively suicidal
- Applicants who have a committable diagnosis in the State of Texas
- Applicants who are bedridden and immobile by any mean
- Applicants whose prior history of violent behavior is beyond the capabilities of the staff and physical environment to contain and manage
- Applicants who have acute, unstablized medical condition(s)
- Applicants with extensive physical care needs
- Applicants with Autism
- Applicants with history of hallucinations
- Applicants with mild, moderate or severe mental retardation with intellectual functioning of 70 or below.
- Applicants who are deaf or with hearing impairments who are capable of reading lips and have some hearing due to assistance of hearing amplifiers or other hearing aids.
